Punch Needle Trivet

I’ve long wanted to give punch needle a try - thinking it would be a perfect crafty addition to what I already do while also providing a practical way to use up the accumulating scraps of yarn.

And while practicality was my main goal, what I didn’t realize is how much I’d enjoy the whole thing. As it turns out, punch needle is basically drawing, on canvas, with yarn.

And those drawings can be turned into fun, colorful housewares. Which is, obviously, totally up my alley.
